1) Roan Mountain - Carver's Gap

Roan Mountain is local and tourist favorite to visit in all four seasons. On Carver's Gap, you will have the options for hiking the iconic Appalachian Trail, Jane Bald, Grassy Ridge Bald, and Round Bald to name a few. The views showcase the beautiful NC/TN Mountains. 

2) The Orchard at Altapass - The Loop Trail

The Loop's Trail is not only a fun hike to do when the Apple Orchard is open, but exploring the property in the winter allows  you to check out some epic views. If there are people in your party that hiking might not be their thing, they can still enjoy the view (inside their car) at the Loops Overlook!

3) Overmountain Victory Trail- Spruce Pine 

The Overmountain Victory Trail follows the exact path taken by the Overmountain Men that helped turn the tide of the Revolutionary War. Part of this trail runs through Spruce Pine and is currently completed.
