Nestled right off the Blue Ridge Parkway, the small town of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, hosts two of the most anticipated events in the gem and mineral world: the NC Mineral and Gem Festival and the Grassy Creek Gem Show. The Grassy Creek Gem Show is known for its friendly and laid-back atmosphere.
